Our initial consultation is an introduction to our services and how we work together. The 'Design Discovery' Consult™ is just $595 (valued at $790). This means you can get a ‘taste’ of the process before going any further.
As part of The 'DesignDiscovery' Consult™ you’ll receive:
· Up to 2 hours meeting with you so I can understand your project and give you some expert pointers on the spot
· The opportunity to bounce your ideas off me
· Clarity around the best areas to focus on to get the most value
· Guidance on how you can avoid making costly mistakes
· Advice on whether you’ll require permits for your design
· If you are building, I will review your architectural plans and offer feedback to ensure that your investment will suit your lifestyle
This consultation is the first step in all our projects where we get to know the background and understand your requirements so that you can avoid making the wrong decisions and not getting exactly what you wanted. Following the consultation, I provide you with a fee proposal outlining the interior design works required and the next steps if you are ready to proceed. Fees are tailored to suit your project with package options available.
Once you have accepted the fee proposal, I start putting together the foundations for the style direction of the project.
I present you with a visionboard showing you inspirational images that reflect the style direction and key design elements with material & colour palette directions that will make your interior amazing. Visuals of how the design will work and floorplan/furniture layouts will show you the potential of how your home will look.
The Love Your Design Guarantee option means I don’t move past the concept stage until you absolutely love your design, giving you peace of mind knowing you’ll have an interior that fits the amazing lifestyle you dream of.
Once the Design Concept is approved and you have a clear vision for how it will look, this stage develops all the detail. This is where the nitty gritty of the design details are considered to make the interior spaces practical and functional for all your needs as well as beautiful.
Detailed drawings of floorplans and elevations with specifications for materials and fittings all form part of the documentation to realise your dream space. Final documentation is produced with detailed instructions, CAD drawings for joinery & kitchen & bathroom spaces and a schedule of finishes, materials and fittings will enable your builder or contractors to quote your project accurately. The fee proposal will calculate how many drawings will be required for your design brief or propose a budget guideline for Furnishing & Decoration packages.
I liaise with the builder and key contractors to make sure the design intent is clear.
Selected furniture, furnishings and any custom items being made for you are ordered with my trade suppliers and installation arranged.
My selections, sourcing or custom designs for furnishing and decoration includes indoor & outdoor furniture, accessories including rugs, lamps, artwork and homewares tailored to add the finishing touches to your project. I provide you with competitive trade pricing from trusted suppliers, arranging order and delivery for you. I also offer styling services to put the final touches with everything in place.
Custom designed window furnishings include curtains, blinds & shutters as well as soft furnishings and recovering family heirloom furniture items. All items are manufactured and installed by trusted trade providers.
